RMHC Charity Golf 2019
RMHC Charity Golf hosted its 26th year golf tournament.
This year’s donation drive is focused on raising funds for the Back To School Program where we aim to provide 30,000 urban poor primary school children across Malaysia with a school pack. This pack includes a set of school uniform, a school bag, as well as a pair of shoes & socks. This program that was first introduced in 2017, is in support of Malaysia’s Ministry of Education.
The objective of the program is to motivate the less fortunate children to start the new school year session with confidence and excitement. Unfortunately, starting the new school year with a fresh set of school gear is still luxurious for some.
RMHC recorded a net profit of RM310,000 from the event towards part financing the Back to School Pack 2019 which aims to fundraise a total of RM3.0 million in 2019.
RMHC also take this opportunity to applaud and mention a special thanks to our guests from NASOM – adik Clarence Kang, adik Umar Hasfizal, adik Husna Qisdeena and adik Pua Zhe xuan, their families and teachers for making time for us today. Their wonderful performances & showcase of talent had been inspiring and had definitely made this year’s tournament even more memorable.
