More than 2,000 runners were registered for the event. In view of the heavy downpour, flag off was delayed to 6.15pm and everybody seemed to enjoy running in the rain. Royal Bank of Canada, took out a Silver sponsorship as part of the Putrajaya Night Marathon for a 5-km family fun run. Kids run alongside their parents to help raise funds for a special cause – the proceeds will go towards furnishing a new Ronald McDonald House at Women & Children Hospital Kuala Lumpur. After the run, families stayed on to enjoy the carnival activities like face painting, mountain climbing walls, trampoline, popcorn and candy giveaways.
